BAD SERVICE FROM A 1 POOL COMPANY IN KRUGERSDORP

People beware of A 1 Pools, Krugersdorp. They the most dishonest, unreliable and unprofessional people I ever had to deal with.

We asked on facebook for pool companies Krugersdorp area to quote on construction work to be done on our pool. Lady from A 1 Pools, Krugersdorp called and we set a time and date for the rep to come see us.

3 days later we still waited for our quote which we finally received via whattsapp as their computers were acting up.

A dep had to be paid before commencing with any work, which we did. I tried calling Adriaan, the guy that quoted, to inform him that dep was paid but to no avail and upon investigation i found they have a facebook account too with another person.(co owner) He is the other partner named Schalk Liebenberg, whom i informed that dep has been paid and they can commence asap. First 2 or 3 days went ok but when i needed to speak to Adriaan again and could not get a hold of him, i called Schalk who then informed me that he knew nothing about the work that is to be done. On my question to him whether Adriaan then does not work for A 1 pools, i was told yes, he does and that he is co owner. I was told by Schalk that Adriaan is doing this on the side and not through the business and that he wants no part of this.

He also could not explain to me why I was not informed of this the first time i called him to which he kept quiet.

Schalk did promise me though that should anything go wrong, he would see to it that my pool gets renovated as he can not afford to have his business;s name dragged through the mud

However, from the wednesday to Friday, the labourers (sub contractors) came to work and just sat around as Adriaan went awol, they needed more building rubble as well as the compacter.

I took it upon myself to hire a compactor and then had to pay sub contractor the weeks wages too as Adriaan did not show up or pay them.

I then hired contractor to proceed and had to buy a lot of material etc in order to finish pool as well as pay them.

SO PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT USE A1 POOLS, KRUGERSDORP...
