A1 will take you for a ride

On 3 March 2016 I went to A1 motors to apply for a BMW 320i, they had advertised for R229 000. I met up with Aldrin. When I reached the dealership, the car was priced R239 000 on the floor. I then queried this, but they told me it doesn't matter, I will get it as per the advert. I then then completed my application and got approved to purchase the car, with my car as a trade-in. I was advised I can get my car the next day, when I tried to do so, I was told the car has a settlement amount outstanding, which did not make sense to me, as that meant that they where selling a vehicle which was not legally theirs. I then went on the net to see if they had taken the car off their website, only to find that they have it on for R249 000. At some point the agent had told me that they feel the car was under priced, and claimed that they will take back the car to the owner. After that deal fell through, the agent went ahead and did an application for another car on their floor without my consent. A1 motors has caused me a lot of time and distress as I cancelled another car thinking I secured this one, I am STILL without a car. This made me feel extremely disappointed with this car dealership.
