Don't use A1 Assist

<p>My elderly mother has an accident in Parkview. A1 Assist were on the scene very fast. They convinced her that they were contracted to her insurance company. They were asked to tow the vehicle to the insurers panelbeater. This was entered on their towing form. The towtruck driver (Zane) promised her that the vehicle would be towed to the insurers panel beater. The vehicle was instead towed to A1 Assists yard at 10h30 on a Friday. By 12h00 we realised they has not taken the vehicle where they were supposed to. We tried everything to get an invoice to get the car out of their yard by the end of the day (which is 15h30 on a Friday for them). We were sent in circles, and cut off, and must have phoned over 50 times. By Monday morning, they wanted R10,000 to release the car.</p> <p> </p>
