******!!! Hiden Costs that customers don't get told about!!!!

<p>I was involved in a minor car accident on the 24th of January 2017 (7am). As I was still shocked and confused a guy by the name of Quade gets there and offered to assist, I refused because I felt bul**** and intermidated. I phoned my husband to come to where the accident took place, he was there within minutes. This quy Quade said mam' you car can't move because its leaking oil and water (which we later find out it wasn't true) it was just water. He said I will be charged R450 for towing and they will take it to their towing co.</p> <p> </p> <p>We got there and were asked to pay R450 for the quote of which we did, a minor damage was going to cost about R45 000 which was very odd. So we said sorry, we will rather take the car as we don't that amount of money to pay cash. The quote was sent to us very late (intentionally) I'm sure, so the car can be put in the storeroom. My husband went there to fetch it the following today (25 Jan) and was told to pay R9 291. YES!!! after I told the guy who was towing it that I don't have money to pay for the towing and said don't worry mam its will be R450.</p> <p> </p> <p>At the scene of the accident, he asked to sign a form to "acknowledge" that they towing my car, because I had asked him why am I signing. When my husband got there he was told I should have read the back of the invoice. HOW?? if this was not explained and hidden as the invoice was in the book. I phoned and pleaded for them to release the car and they refused. We had to borrow R10 000 for the car to be released. Only to find that the car is not as bad as Quade said it was and my husband could drive it.</p> <p>What is one suppose to do? Is this how human beings are treated? Making money while people are in tears and desparate? I won't leave this until I get answers. We stuck with loan with interests and the company is enjoying the benefits while others are in pain. It is so sad that this country is moving backwards. Had I known.......</p> <p>I will never recommend this company to any person and I will make sure the entire Joburg knows about this.</p>
