BEWARE!

On 2015/02/17 my daughter was involved in quite a bad accident and taken to hospital. In peak traffic it took me forever to get to the accident scene... I phoned her friend on the scene to tell him that only a certain company is allowed to tow the vehicle, and that I am on my way. The A1 Assist tow truck driver however coerced him into signing a tow authorization before I could get to the scene, assuring him that they are contracted to the Insurance company and that all expenses will be covered by the insurance. Naturally these were all lies, and my insurance company refused to cover the cost. Even though neither myself nor my daughter consented to have the vehicle towed, the vehicle was held to ransom, and to release the vehicle I had to pay R8379.00 plus R342.00 for every day that I were to leave the vehicle there! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! WATCH OUT!
