Accident False Insurance Present

Should they get your contact number and name of your insurance they will call you, pretenting to be your insurance and telling you to allow the guy on scene to tow your car and if you are not lucky your insurance will turn around and blame you for using other towing company without authority from your real insurance company. This is done through the towing company's call centre and they call it Boomslang. Be wise and call your insurance on your own and ask for adivse and don't let anybody to tell you what to do while on the scene except from your own insurance, don't allow any of the tow trucks to have your numbers unless authorised by your insurance. Otherwise you might be asked to pay the differences from the towing comapny you gave up your car.
