VALIDITY OF COC CERTIFICATE

<p>PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS<br />In August last year A and A Electrical did work on the house we were buying for the COC certificate. At the time these was a few hiccups whcih wer referered to the attorneys delaing wit hthe transfere, one of which was that they had issued a COC certificate and the work had not been complete. I complained about a couple of issues at the time. Two weeks ago our geyser had only cold water, we got out a plumber who reportd and showed us(as per pic attached) that the circuit breaker switch had burn out. I tried for over a week to get hold of them, there phone just rings, I left numerous messages, finally last week I got hold of a gentleman by the name of Johan who said he would give them the message to call me. I spoke to him again on Friday the 19/05 and he said someone would call me back Friday, nothing happened. On Monday the 22/05 I spoke to a lady by the name of Susan that told me there is no gaurantee on anything, My first question is how does a COC carry a validity then. I then spoke to A gentleman by the name of Andrew who told me he would speakt o Mark the electrician that ocersaw the work carried out and get back to me. This morning when I called them to find out a way forward I was told that they will only rectify the matter/ if I called the attorney that we worked through and clear there name as they no longer get work from this attorney. I asked if this was ********* and was told all they daying is IF I CLEAR THERE NAME WITH ATTORNEY THEY WILL RESOLVE THE ISSUE</p>
