I have been using Payfast for the last two years or so for the odd international payment. This month I get a transaction that is larger than normal for a humanitarian project to help communities and Payfast decided this is risky, tells me that they will be reimbursing not only that transaction but all transactions that have gone through my account since then as they can't make sense of what it was for. When you do good you get shut down, but the rest of the world *****s and gets away with it.

What they do not share and lack transparency with is that they will hold my clients money for 6 months before reimbursing them. They are also saying that they may not be able to supply me a report of my client transactions that went through so that I can know which ones were blocked out and I can at least communicate to the clients concerned as they have locked me out of my account.

So, I would not recommend them ever!

They only have their own interests at heart and really do not care for their clients in the least. They lack transparency and communication is shocking.
