Unauthorized debits
This on going unauthorized debits / card purchases are becoming more and more annoying and I have still not been refunded my full amount as it happened again on 01 July 2024 yet my services have been canceled and I had removed my banking and card details from the webafrica / Vuma account, how is this not *****ulent and / *******. This is definitely a lawsuit because there's no contractual agreement that for canceled services there will be any further payment unless I choose for there to be.

02 Jul 2024, 12:48We understand that the team has reached already to offer advice pertaining to your issue. As advised, in order to cancel services, this request has to be completed by the service provider in question as Payfast by Network, we are accountable to facilitate the payment only and not the activation or cancellation of services.

Have you made the request to cancel your subscription services with the service provider or have you just removed your card? Card details are never stored however a payment token is created that is charged. Removing of the card does not guarantee a cancellation of services. If you have not formally requested to cancel your services with the ISP this may be where the issue lives. We are unable to cancel services or refund without the instruction of the merchant/ISP.

02 Jul 2024, 13:36I have canceled the services and the ISP confirmed such successfully, I didn't need to remove the card and bank details because the services have been inactive and canceled for 30 days, only 1 R399 had been refunded and a total now of R1197 is still outstanding. Why would you only have refunded anything at all if this was not a fault on your or their end...? I want my money

As advised, we only refund based on instructions we receive from the merchant in this case being your ISP. The balance of your refund is with the merchant and we need to be given instructions in order to have this refunded.

You need to contact your service provider in regard to the refund in question. We can only act against instruction on the merchants behalf once we receive this information.
