Stay away from Payfast
I linked Payfast to my Shopify store and made a R6037.50 test payment. Payfast refused to pay it out, citing self-payment rules, and were only willing to fund R1703.02 — keeping the rest without explanation

The retainer was implemented based on the nature of your business to ensure compliance with our risk management guidelines. We have reduced the retainer to accommodate your request; however, it cannot be completely removed, as this measure remains part of our standard risk management policy.
