If you’re black or a POC, this is important! Payfast is discriminatory towards black and POC enterprises. Every time I’ve had a chargeback request and the matter gets resolved, payfast will withhold my funds for atleast 3 months - even after the customer and bank closes the bank. I have a friend who is also a merchant, she’s white and whenever her account gets a chargeback request, funds are withheld and released after 2 weeks. I’ve sent payfast her merchant ID and enquired why they treat black and POC merchants differently. They have failed to respond and instead closed my account so I can not login. You really ought to be ashamed of yourselves! South Africa is 90% black and POC population, continue treating us with prejudice, you’re gonna run out of business. I’ll be reporting the matter to the Human Rights commission.

11 Jul 2021, 09:59Isn’t it ironic that if one goes through your reviews all the complaints are from Black or POC customers and merchants while all the positive reviews are from white people? I wonder why that’s the case.
