Payfast protects ********** merchant

On 15 August I bought an item from Thefidgetshopza for R150, and paid an additional R120 for overnight delivery. (Actually my 6yo son bought it with his pocket money, and spent the extra on delivery because he was so excited he couldn't wait)

The payment was made through Payfast. I received confirmation of the order and payment.

I heard nothing further from the merchant, despite repeated email enquiries. The merchant provides no contact details on their website, except for the email address.

At my wits end, I contacted Payfast on 21 August. Your guys put pressure on the merchant, who eventually delivered the item on 28 August as a result of your effort. I am grateful for your support in this regard.

On 28 August I sent another email to the merchant, requesting a refund of the overnight delivery fee. No response.

The merchant has to date not responded to any of my email communications.

Your staff has indicated that Payfast is unable to assist me in getting the refund for the delivery fee. That is not acceptable to me. Payfast is currently enabling this merchant to conduct ********** business (I have located 2 other customers who were similarly ****med).
