****med through your very secure Payfast payment link

I placed an order with Smeg SA on there official website. Once I moved to my basket to make payment I paid through payfast which is a verified payment link. Once I made the payment I was suspicious about the *** linked to the receipt so I blocked my credit card. My suspicion was confirmed. I called Smeg SA and they said there was no such order and it seems I was ****med. I called Payfast to check. They said my payment hit there account and was released to there client. They claimed there was no complaints about the company my money went to and I should call my bank to run the investigation.

Can we trust Payfast payment option?

Are they a reliable company protecting payment links?

Sad to say they are clearly not if they have ******** within there portfolio. I urge everyone to be extra careful when making payment through PAYFAST as they are not as reliable as they claim to be.
