Terrible manager

KThe manager at 86 on republic in Randburg is absolutely appalling. He treats customers like they owe him something. We ordered a bottle of wine and After I took a sip and advised our waiter that the wine had a rusty taste. He then suggested I order a different wine. I asked for the drinks menu and told his manager who then came to our table. The first thing he said was ‘ I hear you have a problem with the wine’. No greeting of any sort. I then went on to try explain to him what our issue was and he literally cut me off before I could Finnish and said ‘ what is the problem with the wine’. Someone else at the table them said, she just told you and I will reiterate because I took a sip and the wine does indeed taste off. We then asked him to taste the wine or get one of the barmen to taste it to confirm that the wine is off. He said ‘ wine doesn’t expire and I only drink Heineken, what is the problem with the wine’. We then said to him ‘ are you going to help us or not?’ He then said ‘ you can order a different bottle but you can’t have an issue with this one as well, you have to pay’ what kind of manager says that to customers?. anyway I then said ‘ ok may I please have the ...’ before I could say ‘menu’ he put up his hand and said ‘ I don’t take orders’ and Walked away. First of all, even an owner of any establishment will take an order form a customer. This manager is the rudest and the most condescending person and should not be in customer service. I will not be coming back to 86 on Republic in Randburg. That man needs to be trained on how to deal with customers, he is terrible. I only rated 1 star because I can’t go below that.
