Injury at 86 Public Braam

I would like to express my utter disappointment with 86 Public.

My son and his cousin went there on the evening of the 24th August 2019. They ordered their meal and proceeded to pay for it. While waiting for the order to arrive, my son went to the bathroom. He fell in their bathroom as the floor was wet. I live in Centurion and the restaurant is in Braamfontein, long story short , 8 stitches later on his face.

Now, what I don't understand is how an establishment can display such an I don't care attitude to what happened. The two boys aged 16 and 17, respectively, were left to sort themselves out. Staff said they called an ambulance and that it would take too long, so they suggested they uber themselves to a hospital.

Now, my son was unconscious after falling and a stranger came to his aid, helped him wake up and called his cousin and yet 86 Public let him walk out of their premises not knowing whether he will pass out again. They did not care enough to take any form of responsibility for what took place in your establishment and let a bleeding child leave your restaurant clearly so you would not have to take any form of responsibility. Where was their safety officer? Or staff member trained for first aid?

What kind of people are so heartless? Nobody cared to even take their numbers to find out, if that person that fell in their bathroom ever made it ok. He was soaking wet from his jacket to his trousers from the water in the facility and I guess all the staff could think of was the tips they are losing while this drama was going on. Please note, they never got to eat the food they ordered.

To all those that were on duty that night at 86 Public, shame on you. Human life matters.
