Park and Ride and 702 Walk the Talk - disorganised and dangerous

The Park and Ride arrangements at the 702 Walk the Talk event on 28 July 2019 were extremely poorly executed. The bus service from the Marks Park to Eastgate was inefficient and dangerous. On completion of the event we waited for over an hour for a bus to arrive - other destinations had 3-4 buses arrive for collection during this time. When the bus finally arrived, the driver made no fewer that 5 wrong turns on route and we were exposed to dangerous and reckless driving. The driver blatantly ignored seven red robots and executed a U-turn across 4 lanes on Jan Smuts Avenue. This in full view of a "No U turn sign". The fact that the driver had no idea of the route and drove in a manner that endangered the lives of all passengers is as alarming as it is concerning. This experience spoilt an otherwise excellent event.
