Shocking Service and Attitude!!! recieved from the owner of 601 The Bermudas Beachfront property at Umhlanga Rocks!

I actually dont even know where to begin, I booked a 5 day stay at the property between the 14th - 18th April of which booking.com took the full amount of ZAR 8,790.24. I recieved a notification email stating my booking was confirmed thinking all is in order, I've done this a million times so i didnt even think twice that something like this would happen. Upon arrival I called Max/Mark with the number provided on booking.com (not actually sure of his name, I called him Max and he didnt correct me so im assuming thats his name) asking for the access code and to my surprise he told me he was not aware of my booking, few minutes later i sent him my booking number and he told me the booking was not valid and that I must go try and **** someone else. When I checked online in my app it showed me that the Property itself had cancelled the booking and I did not recieve any notification whatsoever of the cancallation!!! leaving me and my family stranded without accomodation. He didnt offer any assistance at all, not even a number to call and treated me like I'm a ******** in the mean time he was the one that cancelled my booking in the first place!!!! I had to make alternative arrangements for accommodation with money I did not have as booking.com only refunded me my money on the friday. BECAREFUL OF THIS ****MER!!!! He still had the audacity to send me a message afterwards and tell me a case has been opened like he lost out in the mean time I incured extra costs. Please be aware of people like this guys ....you dont want to land up like i did with my entire family in the car and no accomodation, running around looking for a place to stay especially when there is hardly availability. Rather book at 405 or 108 even 1102 or 903 all lovely units!!
