Don't waste your time with 5th Avenue Motors

I recently bought a car from Motorport Bayside (also do not recommend!!), my car was pulling left. I informed Motorport and took my car for a quote to have this corrected. Motorport came back to me to let me know that the quote was too expensive and that I am to send the car to 5th Avenue Motors, so I sent my car for a quote to fix what I had been told was the sub-frame that had moved. When I took the car in, I told the guys are I have been advised that the subframe had moved and that the car was pulling left. They did the check and issued me with a quote to correct the cambers only. on my drive back to the office I called them and asked if there was anything wrong with the crossmember and front left wheelbase (as this is what I was quoted on by the other company) which I was told no, there is nothing wrong. I proceeded to send the quote to Motorport which they paid directly to 5th Avenue Motors. I made and appointment and took the car in. I collect the car and did a good test drive all the way to Paarl. Standing in Paarl yesterday (24.05.2018), I called 5th avenue motors and spoke to Chad, to let them know that the car was still pulling. I asked Chad to arrange to fetch the car from me and to have the problem fixed, which he agreed to. This morning (25.05.2018) to find out what time the car would be collected, I was told that that would not be fetching the car, as I did not initially inform them that the car was pulling left and I will need to bring the car in so that they can see what is going on and they were quick to say that they had completed what was paid for. Furthermore, after talking to the manager (Kenneth) this morning and explaining to him what Chad has said yesterday and what I was told this morning and how their services is lacking, I was told by Kenneth that he doesn't think that they have lacked in their service. What a joke!!!

Over and above what I have paid for the car, I will now have to spend another R3000 to have the car fixed properly...

I feel that between Motorport in Bayside & 5th Avenue Motors, I have been taken for an Idiot!!
