Unreliable and moody host

514 Kruger Park Lodge, facilitated by Petra. Never book this lodge. They dropped us after confirming and payment and Booking.com confirmed all is in order. Three weeks before our Christmas December holiday, in early December, they cancelled citing "personal reasons" which is such an insult. Why not destruction of land or property? Petra was not helpful in this regard; she just ssid "sorry".

Booking.com is struggling to find alternative accomodation as we booked a three-bedroom chalet to accommodate the structure of the family, which includes a grandparent. It is peak season in a holiday town and there are no availabilities except an hour moving away from our chosen town and in sub-standard accomodation.

Rogue owners like the 514 Kruger Park should be blacklisted by all property platforms for acting abd trading in bad faith. They do not belong in the hospitality industry. Petra tells me they are millionaires and own properties all over. For all their millions, they have no class or manners and apparently when you're a millionaire you can ruin whole family holidays at a whim! Or is it because they discovered we're black?
