First booking for the day still turned away

I booked work on my vehicle at 4x4 Mega World (Atterbury Value Mart) on 7 September, and was given an appointment for Wednesday 16 September — a week and a half's notice. The job was simple: remove a canopy from one vehicle and fit it onto another.

When I arrived on the morning of the 16th, I was the first booking in their diary for the day. Instead of doing the work, I was asked whether I could leave both vehicles with them for two days. No one had phoned me beforehand to warn me of any delay or to reschedule — I only found this out once I was standing there with both vehicles, having made arrangements for the swap to be done that day.

For a booking made this far in advance, for a straightforward job, this is unacceptable. There was no communication and no attempt to honour the appointment. I cannot recommend 4x4 Mega World to anyone.
