They are useless for your home

On the 27th of July I placed an order for a Black + Decker Steam mop.

Communication was prompt,the same could not be said about my product. After a week i phoned to find out what was going on and i recieved the following feedback: Due to the looting that was taking place in the country at that time,suppliers were struggling to recieve stock". This was a reasonable excuse according to me and I was asked to give them time till the end of August,which was not so reasonable.

After giving them this time, I phoned again. This time the excuse was a bit more ridiculous,stating that the suppliers have recieved stock, however the stock was still in JHB so they could change power supply plugs from European Standards to SA standards,at this time I was fed up and requested a refund which they had no problem to give.

However again,the courtesy is all you recieve,your money is out of site. When i phoned them the 9th of September all of a sudden the whole accounts department is in self isolation. I thought ill be reasonable and wait for a response as promised by the 10th of September,but nothing came.

So then on the 13th of September 2021 I phoned again,still having the same excuses of self isolation.

Losing most of my patience and having to start threatening them with lawyers if they do not refund me within the next week was the only option left after i was struggling for more than a month and a half with them. This seem to have worked as I have recieved my money back the same day.

This company is utterly useless

( I did ask them if they do read their reviews on Hello Peter,and i was told they don't. I also advised them to start doing so)
