Not complying with Legislation. Placing their interests first.

I purchased an Energizer LED Lantern online from 4home. When it arrived I realised it was not a rechargeable unit. I phoned Michelle immediately and asked her to please exchange for a rechargeable unit. They declined my request for the following reason.

"We understand your request, however we cannot accept the return of the product as we are not able to return to the supplier or re-sell the product. We shall then be stuck with a product we cannot sell should we accept the return of the product and thus loose money."

In terms of "The electronic Communications and Transactions act" they should honor my request, Yet they still show me an Up Yours. Who is to blame for this. Them or Energizer / Enertech
