Mean Owners Baby Shower Nightmare!

Last weekend a group of friends and I decided to host a baby shower at 41 on Main in Paarl. The fee for 20 guests was paid a few weeks upfront for all guest except for about 10% of the bill that was settled before leaving the premises. When arriving I was particularly disappointed at the attitude of the owner I had to inform them that I was the lady hosting the baby shower and it seemed as though they had no idea that the baby shower would start within 15 minutes. The cake, quiche and decor were great, but the owners were extremely unfriendly and it seemed that all they wanted was to get us out of there from the minute that we entered their premises despite being quite polite I was treated quite hostilely partially I believe because they might have been expecting a woman / group of a different colour to be arriving at their venue. It was extremely disappointing. The owners had a terrible attitude and despite not giving us a time limit they started packing up the cutlery and our plates and buffer 2 hours into our baby shower while we were still busy eating and speaking. Some children went to the bathroom and were shouted at. When leaving the doors were closed immediately. Horrible!
