I booking a room last minute at 40 Winks Guesthouse in Greenpoint, Cape Town on bookings.com I was greeted by a lovely Sipho, who put me in touch with James, the manager, who informed me he was not happy with the rate I paid for his room on Bookings.com.

After trying to convince me that I could pay him for the shortfall, i became suspicious of him. After hours of a trying to reason, and battling to communicate with Bookings.com, I was refused a room, unless I paid the difference, I was forced to leave, and find an alternative Hotel.
