Dj never showed up to my wedding and sent someone unprepared

Would NOT recommend! Got married September 2023. Had booked with Steven and paid what he asked for to secure our spot. He couldn’t provide pictures for the photo booth options he had,he said go look on his Facebook page as he can’t find his own pics. It took myself, my husband and my sister to get the info out of him. Should have been our first sign. (The wedding venue recommended him so we went with him) The only point of contact is Steven. No mention of a team or any other persons. He seemed to be on the same page- had a meeting a week before our wedding and he ensured all was perfect. On the day he didn’t show and some other guy did and was completely unprepared. He played the wrong song for me to walk down the aisle! What we organised in our meeting the week before had not been met and was a complete waste of time. As was his online system where we had to load all the kinds of music we wanted - by typing each song title and artist in and when you want it played. Not one of the songs we requested was played.I made a timeline for him for the night so he knew what we needed and when music was to be played during our reception (I even added the songs names and artists at each point that matched the timeline so he could be prepared. Paid for the package to have music playing at the reception/canapé area (which was a 2 minute walk from the ceremony) when we got there - no DJ and no music. He came running with a speaker that he used in the ceremony location? This was supposed to be set up already.It wasn’t the “fill in DJs” fault, however this ruined our day and had us on our toes wondering what the rest of the night would consist of. The bridal party and photographers tried to get the New DJ up to speed and he wasn’t the most friendly. Messy set up in ceremony location. Dj had none of the songs we now needed to request on the dance floor as he played the same song 3 times in 20minutes and said his system wouldn’t download them. Incredibly disappointing and he won’t answer any calls or mail. If he had communicated that he wasn’t able to come- we would be happy to make sure the new DJ was up to speed so we could move forward. No communication. Would hate this to happen to someone else (which he has done before- saw another review very similar to this one)
