4 POS software systems don't work
I would just like to share my information. I have 7 x 4 POS packages in my shops, two of which were bought about 8 years ago. The rest are "new". The old ones are still working perfectly, the newer ones are an absolute disaster. DO NOT consider 4 POS if you are opening a business or thinking of changing your system. We are forever being asked to update and then all sorts of problems occur. My one system keeps saying that there are multiple warehouses (which is absolute *******) and therefore we are unable to get essential reports. We have spoken to the technical team over a week ago and are still waiting to have the problem sorted. One of the other systems in another store will not give a sales dashboard so we are in the blind as to any information in this shop.. I can go on and on!

The facts again :
4POS did not create the warehouse &create your problem. One of your users did. Imagine if the 4POS system just randomly starts to update prices, delete items etc? Data is within a user's control & NOT 4POS.
We have shown you that your user/s have created a warehouse called www - Only you can explain that!
A simple solution would have been to restore a backup PRIOR to this!
The "essential report" is a sales / Stock analysis which can also be achieved by printing many of the other 100 reports eg. Product performance, Stock value report & many more!
The sales dashboard not showing in your other store is printing on multiple pages due to your default printer NOT being an A4 printer.
When I tried to explain this to you telephonically, I was called a condescending youngster....

To the owner of Longbeach Pets - Denise & her sarcastic manager Gene which writes these wonderful emails :
" HELLO PETER WILL GET ANOTHER REVIEW.... WITH THE HUNDREDS OF UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS"
After 8 years, maybe you should also find a different POS system that works better according to you.
Interesting to note that in none of your stores you have signed up for a support contract which would have given you access to professional support!
No support contracts - simply no support!
No business can provide free support & if it is free, it is worth exactly what you paid for it!
