A badly neglected house.

I'll start by saying I recently stayed ina lovely house on Walkers Bay nad gave it a rave review. This reveiw is more like a rant. Bear in mind this house sleeps 12 and we were a group of 8 adults and a small boy. It was also Dec 23rd-27th (i.e. our Xmas trip). On arrival we found there were too few glasses for 9 people and NO coathangers in the house. The oven was in desperate need of a clean. We informed the owner who addressed these issues promptly.

HOWEVER, during the next 4 days we found that there were not enough chairs for all to eat (one of those offered was also very *****), only 1 decrepit wheely for *******, already full so our ******* was left in big bags near the wheely where night time animals broke into it. The place was dusty and a lot of dust had literally been swept under the carpet. The ancient vacuum cleaner was taken away on day 1 (for repair?) so we couldn't use it to clean up on our last day. There were no serving s****s. The oven was old and dirty also inefficient. 2 rooms had no privacy as keys to lock them were not provided. One of these was a toilet. The master bedroom had no bedside lamps and the door had a nasty splinter near its lock just waiting to hurt someone.The braai equipment was rusty and filfthy. A ramp outside the hosue for wheelchair access was overgrown with bushes. No router was provided so, knowing this, we took our own only to find it could not be configured. The whole house was very dirty throughout. The owner was very difficult to deal with. Apart from that.....
