Interior designer not registered/Builder not registered / Money lost

I engaged Anette de Jager from 360Design for renovation of a boundary wall and two very small bathrooms . I had visited a project which she had done . She said that she was an Interior designer . Her quote seemed reasonable and as I am not originally from Cape Town, I needed the assistance of someone I thought was professional. Her workmen made such a mess of one bathroom .I had to get in another plumber to fix up the mess. She took a large chunk of the money . The tiles were not measured correctly so I had to purchase more for the 2nd bathroom. She also bought up all the tiles I needed for another job and took my spare tiles for another job. The plumber doesn't seem to be qualified and neither the builder. She left a huge mess on my property ,although she was supposed to be the project manager. The workers arrived at 10.30 am ..when they worked and left at 3 or 4pm. It took 2,5 months for the tiniest bathroom. She told me that I am bad energy...but not bad enough to take my money. She is actually not a registered Interior Designer. He builder named Sakkie admitted to not paying any UIF for his staff which is *******. I eventually kicked them off my property. I hope that this helps others to make a wiser decision regarding who they choose as contractors and research thoroughly. Get as many references as you possibly can and check the work and status of these ' so called professionals ' or you could end up wasting a lot of money.
