I had a policy with 360 Plus which got cancelled and in April took out a 2 year Service plan and when I spoke to the agent I specifically told her that I am planning to trade in my car after 2 years and I need the 2 year plan not the 3 year plan she offered. On the 30th of April I received policy documentation for the policy I agreed on, then on the 7th of May 2016 I received another policy thinking it is a duplication of the policy I took out and again on the 9th of May 2016 I received another email with the policy I took out in which also I thought it is a duplication and I have already printed the one I took out and never paid any attention to the other emails.

In June they debited for the policy I preferred and the other I did not take which I never paid any attention to that but again in July this month they did for both and luckily I kept the emails of the documentations and noticed I have 2 policies for one car and the other one I took still has the previous car registration of Gauteng but when I provided the agent for the new policy I gave her the Cape Town registration I currently have in the car. So basically I got misinformed and clearly the agent activated the previous policy I had.

I called in today and pleaded my case when I was told that I am not going to receive any refund because I did not cancel the policy within the 30 day cooling off period of which it does not apply because I did not agree to the plan at the first instance.

I am utterly disappointed!!!

I need the recording of that call immediately, my refund and I am going to report the matter to the ombudsman!!!
