Really Disappointed x32

<p> </p> <p>I'd like to express my disappointment experienced this morning at the Southgate branch. I was interested in a pair of Hush Puppies shoes which had no price on them. I requested the price from the sales representative and she advised they're not for sale, and placed them on the payment counter. I then approached the manager who said if there's no price, he can't sell them to me. I asked can't you check on the system or call someone? He said no. Overall he just didn't express any concern for the sale. I even told him you're going to lose a sale and a customer to which he said it's the policy not to sell and he is going to send back to the warehouse. I walked out and joked and laughed at "There's no price manager".</p> <p>Recommendation:<br />I have no issue with the store policy and that's acceptable. However, he's attitude and tone was unacceptable. Being in corporate and expecting the customer is king methodology, I would have (if I was in his shoes) explained the policy, then politely asked the customer for their details and said I'll check with warehouse and give you a call as soon as I have a price. I'll also reserve the pair for you - I'd be happy with that. I'd recommend some training for the management.</p> <p>Side Note:<br />I'd like to commend the cashier who apologized on the stores behalf. I told him I appreciate that but it needed to be from the manager.</p> <p>You guys have some really good deals, but staff and management's attitude is key. I don't feel like visiting the store again even if the prices are good.</p> <p>Really Disappointed.<br />Ahmed</p>
