I sent a package to my mother who was recently diagnosed with cancer. She had left her own phone in a taxi and it was impossible to communicate with her. So, decided to ship a spare iPhone I had. I used 3@1 in Clearwater to ship the phone and they used MDS as their courier. Between these two useless companies, they managed to deliver my phone to an individual who was standing outside of the property, presented no identity document or was not authorised by the consigned. Up to now, they refuse to take responsibility for both the cost of the phone and or the cost of the shipment They acknowledge it was delivered to Simphiwe who may have sold it but Simphiwe was kicked out of my mother’s house and hence was not acting as her agent. He still denies ever picking up the phone though rumours are that he sold it flr R150 to a local drug pushed. This is all heresay but 3at1 has refused to even apologise for this incredible bad service They can’t answer why the delivery man couldn’t be bothered to enter the premises when he was only 10 metres away, no dog
