Beautiful location, beautiful food and beautiful ambiance

Recently, my hubby and I had the good fortune of being taken to this magnificent place by my daughter. This is a stunning location and so very refreshing to be at. We were very impressed by the ambiance, the surroundings, the furnishings, the art work and the upkeep of the place. The beautiful flowers, garden and koi pond added to the charm. In fact a visit and stay here is priceless. I must compliment the management and the reception area staff. I would have given it 5 stars, because truly they are deserving of it in every respect except the restaurant staff. This resort is a real gem, but what will make it more special is if they put their heart into the service of clients. None of the staff at the restaurant know how to smile. They do not greet and one actually s***led at us and served us very grudgingly. To her it was a real pain to serve people. In fact, she didn't give us serviettes or even answer when we spoke to her. When I asked for serviettes, she shook her backside and walked away. Eventually, I went up myself and told a very helpful gent that the service we were getting was actually ruining our beautiful day. He immediately assisted us. The women then refused to serve us and he had to take over. There was NO rudeness from our side. She is just poorly trained and shouldn't be the face of this beautiful resort. I think it wouldn't hurt if the staff is trained to service the customers with a friendly and genuine smile as though they enough their job. I would love to come back here and give you the 5 stars that you truly deserve.
