I’m so disappointed in the device that is in this shop now, before it used to be the best with the previous ladies who were working previously had the best customer service , this is the 3rd time I’m experiencing the worst service and it’s annoying how you have to beg to be helped , I work in the centre as well and this used to be my go to place for all balloons and gifts for our colleagues, 1st incident after the change of your stuff I was there to buy my friend’s wrapping paper and a gift bag and I asked the ladies to wrap for me and I was told I need to pay for them to wrap for me which was the first I’ve heard of that since this shop started , mind you before I used to do it with no charge but I would give the ladies something coz they very pleasant and very nice and they actually loved what they were doing , anyways they said to me I have to pay extra R30 and I said no problem I wanted to pay by card for everything they said to me no it has to be cash and everything was at a standstill that I have to pay this R30 cash, I had to go back to the office to get this R30 with all this inconvenience , 2nd incident I was buying my friend who had given birth , the ladies again didn’t shock me with the bad customer service , I wanted a busket gift and on the display there was one of the Easter and Easter had already passed so I asked if I can get that and how much it was , the lady said I’m not sure how much it is let me ask my colleague , the lady came and said I’m not sure too I think it’s R250 , I was shocked coz everything inside including the wrapping and all wouldn’t go to that amount , anyways I said I need this so it’s fine I will take it , then the lady at the till starts saying we will charge you extra for the doll inside which will be xtra R70, I asked how come coz I asked you told me R250, the whole experience was very bad, the 3rd incident which was top tier , I go with my friend and he wants to wrap his gift for his fiancée they say wrapping the gift will be R50 , are you telling me from last month to this month wrapping has gone up from R30 to R50? Make it make sense to me how ? The rudeness of these girls are with the ‘take it or leave it ‘ attitude , my other colleague was there a few days back and guess what ? She wrapped her gift for free, and also this R50 has to be cash , with how these ladies are doing they are slowly chasing us away and it’s sad coz we work at the centre we always support the store and used to love it before these other ladies joined and made this shop a charge as you go shop , we are not happy can this behaviour be corrected because these ladies will chase customers away with their unpleasantness
