26 Of July Apartments Nightmare

Please don't book a stay @ this hotel. The pics shown of the front of the hotel is actually of a different hotel. That is the entrance of another hotel and u walk through the passage to get to 26 of July Apartments and the nightmare begins. A dark dungeon looking place.our shower was broken, they fixed it twice but the pipe was stiill gushing water and shower head not working. The lift doors are old and rusted, corridor floors are filthy and the apartment curtains have never been washed. Dirty, dusty and too long for the windows so it just hangs on the floor. Their couches are old filthy and wreak of dust. The one curtain in torn and beds Sooo low...you must have a strong back and legs to get up and get onto bed. Bedding doesn't cover mattresses. We requested double sheet to ensure mattress is fully covered. I was forced to cancel my booking due to their non functional shower. I didn't even stay the first night. I cancelled within 3 hours of booking in but they refused to refund me my full payment. They only refunded me 30%. If you are a foreigner please don't be fooled..their photos are totally deceiving. corridors are filthy and I mean have not been swept for weeks..Booked via Booking.com and hence assumed I could trust their reviews and recommendations..A booking from hell is all I can say.
