PROOF OF PORTING
MY PHONE WAS TAKEN FROM ME ON CHRISTMAS EVE,I DID ALL THE NECESSARY TO REPORT THE INCIDENT WITHIN THE SPECIFIED PERIOD.NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY REQUIRE ME TO PROVIDE PROOF ON A LETTERHEAD FROM CELL C THAT I PORTED TO CELL C.THIS IS NO WHERE SPECIFIED IN YOUR WEBSITE AS I READ IT BEFORE I DID THE PORTING.YOU ONLY MENTION THAT I SHOULD KEEP THE SAME NUMBER AND IF IT CHANGES I SHOULD NOTIFY YOU.YOU KNOW FULLY WELL THAT CELL C WILL NOT PROVIDE ME WITH THAT LETTER SINCE I AM A PREPAID CUSTOMER AND NOT ON CONTRACT WITH THEM.I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED BY YOUR SERVICES.WHY CAN'T YOU PICK UP THAT I PORTED TO CELL C BUT YOUR CONSULTANT CONFIRMED WITH ME THAT I CHANGED SERVICE PROVIDERS.I AM REALLY NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS.CELL C WILL NOT BE GIVING ME THIS LETTER SO I GUESS IT MEANS MY CLAIM WILL BE DECLINED,BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THAT IS NOT DISCLOSED IN YOUR WEBSITE.SO I MUST SUFFER FOR YOU NOT SUPPLYING THE CORRECT INFORMATION????
I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS MATTER RESOLVED

REGARDS,

DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER
Thank you for bringing the above to our attention.
With regards to numbers being ported, we need some documentation showing that the number was ported. Even if its the invoice that was given to you on the day for the number being ported over.
Usages are checked against the numbers that are insured. When checking your usage it shows date last used does not correspond with date of incident. The system does not show that the number was ported. This is why the documentation is being requested.
We apologize for any inconvenience that is being caused, however the underwriters do need this for auditing purposes.
As mentioned above, it does not just need to be a letter, this could be the invoice from having the number ported as well.
If you have any further queries you are welcome to contact me on *** or ***
Kind Regards
