MTN/Pinnacle Cellphone Insurance

<p>I bought a SAMSUNG S 6 Edge on contract from MTN and had it insured with MTN. My phone was damaged beyond repair and I submitted a claim through MTN store in Irene Village Mall, Centurion on 13 April 2017. I got a reference number Li052717 and my phone was collected by courier. For days nothing happened and I eventually received a call from Pinnacle stating that the phone was damaged beyond repair and that I am underinsured ! I was not interested in the offer made as I paid the premium as indicated by MTN. The caller did not even know that the phone was a SAMSUNG 6 Edge. She said that she note my concern and would call back. Nothing has happened since then. Enquiries goes unanswered. In the mean time I had to buy a second handset as Ihad not been offered a "loan" phone as per the MTN 360 degree insurance policy.</p>
