In 2011, Pinnacle Marketing starting debiting me for insurance premiums in respect of a cell phone for which I did not knowingly request insurance.

In 2017 they were still debiting my account - four years after the cell phone contract in question expired and long after the phone itself had been thrown away.

The value of the premiums deducted comes to well over double the value of the phone.

And now they are stalling on refunding the money they helped themselves to over the years.

Shame on you.

Pinnacle refunded my premiums in full. Thanks to them.

Thanks to FNB for drawing my attention to the debit order.

Seems some checks and balances need to be put into place to ensure that insurance isn't automatically added to cell phone contracts, and to ensure that they don't outlive the phone in question.
