Claim Rejection - Paying for almost 18 years
<p>I have subimitted a claim on a previous occasion which was successful.</p> <p>The device i used barely lasted 6 months, after which the touch screen didnt respond properly and or some keys were not responding.</p> <p>A cliam was made for this device and it was rejected.</p> <p>Ij laymans terms 24Hour Mobility Cellphone Insurance says they will not help me because i have a different sim card in the device,</p> <p>As far as i am concerned i took out cell phone insurance not sim card insurance.</p> <p>This is a hogwash service and i do not recommend it to anybody.</p>

Please be advised that the policy wording states:
- It is important to note that the MOBILE DEVICE is only covered whilst being used with the SIMCARD encoded with telephone number listed on your Schedule. The policy allows for up to 2 numbers to be listed on the schedule. Either one of these listed numbers must be used in the insured device at all times.
- You can change your cell phone number at any time but the MOBILE DEVICE will only be covered if your broker, Pinnacle Marketing (Pty) Ltd has been notified of the change.
Communications have been sent through to the insured number containing links for you to download a copy of the policy wording which would have made you aware of the terms of the policy.
The policy documents were also sent through to you via email upon your request.
Please note that we are bound by the terms of the policy and need to adhere to it as such; therefore should you wish to dispute the declination or feel unfairly treated in any manner, the best way forward is for you to contact The Ombudsman Short Term Insurance:
