Claim denied
I am unhappy with 24Hour Mobility as they refused to pay out when my phone was ******. The theft was part of an \inside job"where it was taken by someone who also had keycard access to the building. They refused to pay out as they required \""proof of forcible entry\"" e.g. photographs.

Firstly"
Hello princesspancakes,
Thank you for bringing the above matter to our attention.
The claim was declined as the device was not safe guarded and left in a public area unattended. The policy wording which the underwriter is bound by states the following: SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING DUE CARE AND PRECAUTION
At all times you must take reasonable steps to safeguard the MOBILE DEVICE from loss, damage or theft.
EXCLUSIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL SECTIONS OF THE POLICY (What you are not covered for)
viii) Loss or damage arising from the MOBILE DEVICE where it is left unattended
in a public place, place of recreation, office, mall or social occasion where it
is vulnerable for easy removal or damage.
The claim was also declined as the insured number was not in the handset which is another term of the policy.
The underwriter is bound by the terms of the policy and therefore the claim has been declined. The declination letter was also e-mailed to you in regards to the decline and steps for the recourse if you want to take the matter further.
