24HourMobility - This Service is the worst Ever
I'm so disgusted.
For 2years I've been paying them, not being aware that the insurance doesn't stop when your contract stops. But never have I received any newsletter or SMS from them. So there was literally no communication from them. Untill one-day I saw a weird debt order going on my statement. I so stopped the debt order. And boom I received a debt order stop sms from 24Hour. And note i didn't evens know I was still paying them. That's how I found out who this debt order going to, for at the bank they couldn't tell aswell. And so quickly they made contact for they not about to get any money. Nevertheless I wanted to claim from paying them for 2years. & they decline with reason that I'm 30days to late!? What ******** is that. So I'm never going to get helped? They don't not debt money if it's 2days or 30days late, they take their damn money. So much for valuing clients? So what am I paying for if claim is older then 30days? Why still debt?Another point is, they're claim form doesn't state that accidentally damages claims should be claimed within 30days, it says loss and ****** claims should be claimed within 30days.
I demand better service.
I have checked your policy which shows that several sms communications were successfully delivered to the insured number. These sms's contained links to the policy wording, providing you with the opportunity to fami****ize yourself with the policy terms.
The claim form stipulates that all supporting documents required must be submitted within 30days from date of loss (referring to the incident that has occurred whether the handset be lost, ****** or damaged).
This is also your 3rd claim with 24hr Mobility of which the 2 prior claims have being settled in your favour - the current claim has being declined for late submission & claiming on a non-insured event.
You confirmed no accidental physical or liquid damage to the handset - the terms of the policy state that you are not covered for wear & tear, gradual deterioration etc. You also noted the date of damage as 13/01/2016, but the claim was only submitted 12/04/2016, prejudicing the insurer (an email has also being sent to you explaining this in detail).
Should you feel unfairly treated in any manner, please contact the Ombudsman for Short Term Insurance on ***or ***.
Kind Regards,
