Don't get ****med. Demand a quote, confirm service and make him accountable!

Beware the **** this auto electrician will pull on you. My starter motor on rare occasions failed to start my car. This intermittent fault rarely happened, but it was worthwhile getting it repaired rather than getting stranded. Bruce the 24/7 Auto Electrician came to assist. He removed the starter, opened it and suggested the device needed a full refurbishment. Doubting his assessment, I ask him to reinstall it, I wanted a second opinion. After he reinstalled it, my car no longer started at all. I engaged the services of another auto electrician who confirmed the starter solenoid was faulty while the starter motor was still in good order. Bruce charged me R1000 for his removal and reinstallation of the starter and demanded Cash! No comebacks nor accountability after this transaction. FYI, despite several requests for a quote and legitimate paperwork from Bruce, it was never forthcoming and my requested were always followed by "it's coming..." AVOID at all costs!
