Misleading pricing and unclear communication

I had a very disappointing experience with this laundry service.

When I dropped off my laundry, the basket was weighed and I paid around R296 based on the total weight. At no point was I informed that blankets would be charged separately, nor was I asked if my basket contained any blankets.

Later on, I was contacted and told there would be an additional charge of R390 for the blankets. This meant I was expected to pay both the original weight-based amount and an extra charge on top of that — something that was never explained upfront.

The pricing structure was not transparent, and the explanation provided was confusing and inconsistent. If certain items are charged differently, that should be clearly communicated before accepting and processing a customer’s laundry.

To make matters worse, when I went in to question this, the staff member had an attitude and was unhelpful, saying she “didn’t know,” despite the fact that no one had asked about the contents of my basket in the first place.

Overall, I feel misled and taken advantage of. This experience showed a clear lack of communication, professionalism, and transparency.

I would not recommend this service to others.
