Why is it taking too long to validate the policy . Why iam I not paid what is due to me

Iam very much disappointed with the services of 1 life insurance. I lodged a claim in January for my late husband who passed away during Covid 19 second wave time and it was confirmed that he was covid 19 positive and dies due to this pandemic. I have been communicating with 1 life assessor since then and had submitted all the required documentation and they confirmed that they received everything. What saddens me the most is their slow movement when they are supposed to pay for the policy It has been 3 months now each time iam making a follow up iam told the policy is waiting to be validated .for how long must I wait for that process while the medical reports are stating very clear that my husband was killed by covid related complications. What is it that they are searching for months now or they are trying to get a loop hole so that they will tell me the policy is invalid. This is so unfair because it's very nice when they are taking the premiums every month. My husband had a very same policy with Outsurance and they required the same documents but Outsurance managed to process the claim in one month. Why is it so difficult to pay now
