*****ulent and ********* insurance policy taken out in my grandmother’s name. Approximately three months ago, a field agent approached my grandmother at Tsakane Mall and advised her that they were preparing an insurance quotation on her behalf. During the interaction, the agent requested her name and ID number. My grandmother was further misled into providing her SASSA card details under the claim that it would reduce the premium and that the policy would only proceed if she approved the quotation. However, the following concerns have arisen: No policy documentation was ever signed or provided to her. She has no knowledge of the policy benefits, coverage, or agreed premium. The first debit order went through without her noticing. The second debit order was then identified, raising concern. We have since been transferred between providers (1Life Insurance and 360 Administrators) without proper explanation.
