Too much waiting

My brother had a funeral cover from 1life(***) and had no beneficiary. Letter of authority was requested and submitted. After a week I called making a follow up on claim it was then I was informed that I must submit trust account. I submitted it Friday the 15 today I calling for follow up I'm told waiting period is 7 to 14 working days for the assessor and that is too much waiting for someone who died 28 September. The sad part is we buried deceased without money we owing funeral parlour money and they treathning to take us to the lawyers. Contact no *** and ***
