Stroppy if we don't accept a quote

Am not a client, but am merely shopping around for quotes. The end quote given to me was very competitive, and would have been considered if I hadn't been hung up on the second I asked for some time to think about it. What is it about FORCING people in to cover that is so important? The reason I avoid these interactions is because time and time again the second I ask for some time to think about it, the entire mood of the agent flips, and they become stroppy because I haven't jumped on their offer. I called YOU, do not make me feel guilty for wanting more options, this is afterall MY LIFE we are talking about! :/ Professionalism out the door if we don't get an instant yes. If the agent had simply rep****, "of course, the quote has been mailed to you, please do get back to us when you have made a decision" THAT goes much further than the price tag on the premium :/
