****s and ****mers?

1Life Called me to offer me Life Insurance and they offered me a R1M I took it, a week or so later, a lady calls me to congratulate me on my R500 000 life cover, I told her that’s not what I signed up for and asked her to pull the recording of conversation I had with the lady who sold me the cover, she said she’d call me back and the call never came.

Month end came and they deducted my money, fine. I do research to see how much life cover I’d get somewhere else and I’m offered a R1Million cover for way less than what 1Life had offered me.

So, 13th of June, I send them an email asking to cancel my policy and I get no response, I follow that up with a call and they said my policy is canceled and I’d received a termination letter in my inbox 2 days later- it’s been a week and no letter. I checked their app and my policy is still active, even though I was told it has been cancelled.

My worry and frustration is that if it’s so difficult to deal with them whilst I’m still alive, imagine my family trying to claim the life cover? No man, the lies are annoying. They never do anything they say they’re going to do, I’ve received no recording of my initial call with them, no response to my cancellation email and when I called to cancel on the phone, the letter of termination they said they’d send, I’ve not received.

So, no thank you!!!!
