Good day, Sir / Madam<br> <br> I Nicola Gerolive Blanchard I.D. ***, would like to cancel my Policy *** with 1 Life Direct. The reason for this is I am paying X amount every month, but there is no cash back on this policy. I can live for a million years and be still paying and still receive no cash back at the end of the day, which does not benefit me or my family in any way. I might as well take that monthly instalments and invest it in a savings and no I am welcome to get back cash at anytime when I need cash.<br> <br> So please cancel this policy with immediate effect. And all payments made towards the policy be refunded back to me without any hesitation, and to avoid any complications as I have paid quite a fair share of monies on this policy.<br> <br> <br> <br> This e-mail I send the 04/09/2015. I have not heard anything with regards to having part payments paid back to me for a policy I paid for 3 years, so my question is what happens with all my money I paid on this life insurance because I have learned it is no longer of use to me. I have told several people from 1life I wish to have this policy cancelled and part monies refunded. <br> Please Hello Peter assist me I made payments of R300.00 pm

As discussed, the premiums successfully received on a monthly basis are non-refundable as your life insurance policy provided cover in the event of death for that period. The policy is a risk policy and does not include a surrender value which is stipulated in your policy schedule which was forwarded to you on the 14th October 2012. At sales stage the terms, conditions and benefits of the policy were explained. There was no discussion about a cash back option during that call.
