Policy cancelation

I cancelled my policy last month and every second day a consult phones me too welcome me, then I explain to them that I canceled my policy only to be put through to the cancelation department. I will be on hold for 15mins or more before I'm being cut off. I want my policy canceled so that I will not be debited because I canceled it way before the debit date and still got debited
