1life are theives, I've been trying from 16th Feb 2022 to cancel 2 policies which I took for my parents in 2017 on the 1st call everything was explained to me and I accepted the process they would need to follow, I was told my parents being the insured persons makes them the policy holders and their consent is needed to cancel the policies so I provided my parents numbers and was told they'd be called and the policies cancelled, I called back 5 days later and I'm told the same thing that they need to call my parents for confirmation, at this point nobody attempted to call my parents then 6 days later my account is debited of the premiums so I call back and I'm told exactly what I was told twice before and I contact my parents and find out that neither of them had been contacted by 1life, this is how 1life is able to survive by robbing people and not seeing to it that clients requests to cancel are honoured and processed timeously. I am in discussions with my legal team to take action and now recover every cent that was debited off my accounts since the start of these policies.
